Member delegates left the AFSCME 43rd International Convention focused and fired up and ready to rise up against the challenges that lie ahead in a post-Janus world.
They also left with the knowledge that the 2020 convention will be on the West Coast.
The AFSCME 44th International Convention will be in Los Angeles, AFSCME President Lee Saunders announced just before gaveling the Boston convention to a close.
“Every two years, we gather to do the hard but vital work of this union. In another two years, we will gather again this time in Los Angeles,” he said. “We’ll now march forward in solidarity, and with a renewed commitment to rise up on behalf of each other and our communities.”
See you in Los Angeles!
