Take me out to the Delegates Reception! The Delegates Happy Hour at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Hall A is sure to be a home run. On Sunday, July 15 from 5 – 7 p.m., swing for the fences with your AFSCME teammates and with MVPs from across the country for A Night Out at Fenway Park. There will be plenty of peanuts, cracker jacks and all-star memories, so throw on your favorite sports jersey to rep your home team and get ready to play ball!
Fun fact: Boston’s Fenway Park is the oldest ballpark in the country, and home to the famous Green Monster, the iconic 37-foot high left field wall. Fenway and the Red Sox have been home to legends including Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, Carlton Fisk, David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez and many others. With a manual scoreboard and a single red seat in the right field bleachers, which marks a 502-foot long homer by Ted Williams in 1946, Fenway is a cherished Boston landmark.
