Leadership Session: Leading Change

Our union is under unprecedented attack, and it's time to adapt to this new environment. Whether you're a member, local union officer or a staffer; whether you live in a right-to-work state or not, this session will give you the tools needed to not just survive the effects of Janus but grow and lead your fellow union members in changing times.

Strategy and Planning Session: Taking it Home

This exciting strategy session will empower participants to use the insights gained from "Rise Up" Institute classes to develop real-life action plans to strengthen local unions back home and to develop powerful targeted messages to inspire co-workers. Strategy sessions will conclude with a special recognition ceremony for all who participated in the first ever AFSCME "Rise Up" Institute.
